Life is Not a Checklist

Are you a list-maker? I know many of us are! And some of us live by our to-do lists.

Recently, I got together with some very inspiring and amazing women (thanks to @nyattamarywoods and @coachlorriegray ). One speaker (#RebekahLoufik ) at the event really spoke to me about the trap we fall into about about making our lives a checklist, a checklist of achievements. I've found it's pretty easy to get caught up in this with our accomplish-driven society especially as we enter the teen years. Have you?

I love how she said, "a checklist is a tool, but it's not your life." I thought I'd pass this on as January with all of its resolutions and checklists comes to an end. A reminder to live life and enjoy the moment as these years with kids quickly pass!
