Creating Holiday Memories Together

Happy December, all! What are your holiday traditions as a family? Are you decorating your tree today like we are? What fun holiday activities do your kids enjoy? Some traditions change as kids grow older, but yet, it's NEVER too late to start a new tradition. I'm making a list for families with tween & teen girls, so give me your favorites. ⠀

A few of ours include:⠀
-Trim trimming as a family with hot cocoa, popcorn & Christmas music.⠀
-Going to holiday craft fairs in LA together (tho this is the first time we will be selling at a few of them!!)⠀
-Attending a holiday musical / performance like the Nutcracker.⠀
-Lots of holiday baking together: cut out cookies, gingerbread cookies, cranberry & white chocolate chip cookies, Grammercy Tavern's Gingerbread Cake (I'll post recipes soon!)⠀
-Have friends over to decorate cookies. ⠀
-Purchasing items for families in need with a child being treated at Children's Hospital LA. ⠀
-Feliz Navidad for Christmas Eve - after church we enjoy a Mexican feast including tamales, red & green chips and salsa, and pomegranate margaritas with family and friends.
