Happy Read Across America Week!

Ah, one of my favorite weeks to celebrate at our elementary school! Yesterday, all of the kids came to school as their favorite book characters, which is so fun and always adorable to see the kids that get really into it. 

My 5th grader went as a Ravenclaw since she's currently on book 5 of the Harry Potter series. It's one of those traditions that I'll be sad to say goodbye to with this being her last year in elementary (one of many "lasts"!).

I love this quote by Annie Dillard and thought it was fitting for this week.
